TPC of Scottsdale - Stadium course
Home of the FBR Open

Managed by PGA TOUR Golf Course Properties Inc., the Tournament Players Club of Scottsdale is a resort/daily-fee operation in the prestigious network of Tournament Players Clubs. Tom Weiskopf and Jay Morrish designed the Tournament Players Club of Scottsdale expressly to test the mettle of highly skilled PGA TOUR professionals during the FBR Open -- a phenomenon on the Tour circuit that routinely boasts record-shattering attendance of nearly a half-million spectators each January.

The course features championship playing conditions and the trademark spectator mounding that guarantees everyone an excellent, unobstructed view of the tournament action. Closely aligned with the Scottsdale Princess Resort, the Tournament Players Club of Scottsdale offers guests a "Tour Player for the Day" experience, with attentive guest services and a challenging golf course.

Closely aligned with the Scottsdale Princess Resort, the Tournament Players Club of Scottsdale offers guests a "Tour Player for the Day" experience, with attentive guest services and a challenging golf course. The big thrill is to discover firsthand how the FBR Open is usually determined on the final four-hole stretch that includes the island green at the par-5 Number 15 and the drivable par-4 Number 17. In an innovative land-lease agreement, the City of Scottsdale also provided the Desert Course adjacent to the Stadium Course, complete with its own golf shop and patio grill. With green fees commensurate with those of most municipal facilities, the Desert Course is a fairly level cruise through natural terrain and lush desert landscaping. The greens are larger and there are fewer bunkers.

As testimony to its effort to preserve and improve upon the desert setting, the Tournament Players Club of Scottsdale was among the first golf courses across the country to become a Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary. This past year, 11 acres of desert transition areas were relandscaped to further reflect the natural surroundings and to challenge recoveries from wayward shots. Recently remodeled, the elegance of the clubhouse is remindful of an older private club. For 11 years running, the golf shop has been recognized as one of America's 100 Best Golf Shops by Golf Shop Operations. An item or two from the fashionable inventory of PGA TOUR logo apparel and merchandise make an exemplary golf experience even more memorable.
